You get more of what you focus on

When we are focused on something, we often see more of it. Our attention is powerful.

If you are driving down the street looking out for red cars, you will suddenly see more red cars than you ever thought there were.

The act of focusing tunes us into new possibilities related to what we are focusing on.

If we don’t make an effort to focus on something meaningful, then we often get drawn to that device in our pockets and endless scrolling. Do you really want more of that?
