Excuses and procrastination

We all have that important project which occupies a special place in our hearts. We make excuses why now isn’t the best time to start that thing we know we should be doing. We procrastinate.

But is there really going to be a better time to start?

We don’t realise how good we have it right now.

I am certainly guilty of this. I have looked back on certain periods of my life and thought, “man, I had it good then. I was in my prime, but I didn’t know it. I was too busy making excuses. Imagine if I actually got started on…”

Those excuses could be anything on either end of the scale like:

Don’t make that mistake again.

Things could be more complicated in the future, so why not start now.

Don’t squander this opportunity. You are in your prime.

Look at all your heroes, the world-changers you admire and respect. They all took ACTION, regardless of their circumstances. They managed to get started, and so should you!

The world misses out when we don’t start the work we are meant to do.
