This is an extract from my weekly newsletter The Looking Glass.
We are usually “ok” at many tasks, and we probably suck at even more things, but then there are a special few in which we excel.
These strengths or skills are unique to us, and they are what makes us “us”.
Many other people will also have each of these particular abilities, but where the magic happens is in our unique combination of these abilities.
This combination gives us a comparative advantage over others.
For example, let’s say you are a natural, confident speaker, have pretty good writing skills, and are passionate about emerging artificial intelligence. Now you probably aren’t considered the best in the world in each of those areas individually. Still, when you combine the three, you can become a superpower – an authoritative and influential communicator on the topic.
So what strengths, skills, and interests could you combine to become a superpower?
I hope you enjoyed this extract from The Looking Glass newsletter. Sign up for the full newsletter here.
