“Continuous improvement is better than delayed perfection”
Mark Twain
I had a busy week last week. Things felt a bit hectic, so I decided to take a few days off posting to the blog. I needed to focus on what was important at the time.
Now I look back and have a slight regret for not posting anything. I broke my 26 day posting streak! I could have posted something really small, like one sentence on something I noticed in the world.
I realise the benefit in posting everyday because each day is like building that muscle. Training myself to notice, think, and reflect. Habits are powerful over time. Even a 1% improvement each week adds up to a lot over time.
It feels nice to also look back and see a body of work you have created. It’s rewarding to see how far you have come along the journey.
Reflection
I commit to showing up each day, even if only in a minor way. Every step forward counts. Daily progress beats perfection.
From little things, big things grow.
