Time for a little gratitude

We are often racing so fast from one challenge to the next that we never stop and realise how far we have come in our journey.

Take a step back

Look at where your life is right now. Are there things you now have that were once a “want”? Surely there are some things you now have that your old self would have considered amazing to have.

Take a moment to reflect and appreciate that.

Maybe you feel tired in your current job. Remember that once that may have been your dream job, or at least a job you wanted and entered with excitement.

Take a moment to reflect and appreciate that.

Maybe the current pandemic, as crazy as it has been, has given you some space to slow things down, focus on what’s important, and spend more time with loved ones.

Take a moment to reflect and appreciate that.

Reflection

  • How can I incorporate a daily gratitude practice into my day?
  • Next time I achieve something, I am going to pause and savour the moment.
