Invisible help

“Invisible help is the help we as yet do not know we need.”

Often we need help, but for whatever reason, we are not yet ready to admit it.

We think we can power on and do it all by ourselves. You know the new employee trying to prove himself but is struggling to keep things afloat and burning himself out. Or the new entrepreneur who is kicking off a business and thinks she can do it all alone as head of sales, marketing, and finance but is failing miserably outside their specialty.

Sometimes we are blind to the help around us. There are always people around us willing to give help. Some are craving the chance to be helpful.

Why are we unwilling to accept help?

It’s ok to get help.

It feels great for the helper and may make our lives easier.

Win-win.

Reflection

Accept the help I need. Give the help I can.
