“Happiness is determined by factors like your health, your family relationships and friendships, and above all by feeling that you are in control of how you spend your time.”
Daniel Kahneman

Do you feel like you are burning the candle at both ends? Getting up earlier to make some headway before the rest of the office starts. Eating lunch at your desk on the computer. Email after dinner. It feels like it never stops.
Let’s pause and reflect.
Are you making genuine progress on meaningful goals? Or are you just looping on a hamster wheel with no end in sight? Has it all just blended into one?
Do you generally feel happy?
It’s hard to feel happy while caught on a never-ending hamster wheel. It’s hard to feel like we are making progress when it has all just blended into one bottomless pit. We have lost control of our time.
Is all this huffing and puffing worth it?
Only you know the answer to that.
We would like to adopt some healthier practices, but we feel “too busy” to try something new.
Could there be another way?
Reflection
Take the night off. Reflect over dinner with someone special.
Are my current work habits sustainable? What am I missing out on? Is the sacrifice worth it?
What might be a better approach?
