Hello friends,

Thanks again for being here!

Here’s an insight, a question, and a quote I reflected on over the last week.

💡 Most of your life is the journey

It’s easy to get hung up on all our problems, thinking we need to solve them before we can be happy.

You can’t wait until all your problems are solved before feeling happy.

Life is a series of problems, and it’s like a video game where we achieve one level and then move up to the next, more challenging level.

We never run out of problems. Give up chasing that mirage of the final destination where everything is perfect. Try to enjoy the journey, or you will never be happy.

❔ Keep believing in yourself

“When no one believes in you is when you most need to believe in you.”

Robin Sharma

We may think that others no longer believe in us. Or maybe they never did. So we start to give up hope on our dreams. We doubt ourselves.

But could this be precisely when we should double down on our belief?

Or should we cut our losses and move on?

Seth Godin calls this “The Dip”:

“Every new project (or job, or hobby, or company) starts out exciting and fun. Then it gets harder and less fun, until it hits a low point: really hard, and not much fun at all.

And then you find yourself asking if the goal is even worth the hassle. Maybe you’re in a Dip: a temporary setback that you will overcome if you keep pushing. But maybe it’s really a Cul-de-Sac, which will never get better, no matter how hard you try.”

So we feel stuck in a Dip. We could be on the verge of breakthrough success, or trapped in a deep valley with endless misery.

What kind of Dip are you in?

Only you have the answer to that. Get below the surface level of emotions from others’ opinions.

What are you feeling deep down?

I think you already know the answer.

Keep believing in yourself. Keep showing up. Things take time.

💬 A Quote to Ponder – Your personality is your unique differentiator

“Here’s the thing, everyone is searching for their unique differentiator in their business. The majority of the time, there isn’t one, right. But if you try to pull and tweak the way you are wording things and make it so confusing that no one understands what you do, you’ve lost. So your unique differentiator is often your personality.”

Terry Rice

Cheers!
